: Large BBQ sandwich and fries were very good, but strawberry cake was dry, not as good as usual.
: We got food to go. The portions are large and on to go orders, they give you utensils, hand wipes, napkins, salt and pepper packets and they separate all of this from the food with a thin piece of paper so it’s all in one container. The BBQ is what I would describe and sweet & tangy, their pork is finely chopped and their ribs where tender. They serve the sweet and tangy sauce on the meat so ask for it on the side if you prefer dry. The okra was good and the potato salad has mustard and pickles. The strawberry shortcake dessert was made from scratch. The place has been around a long time, there is a front to go area and a dining area in the back that has a diner feel.
: Stopped passing through town. Waitress was polite. When we asked her what was good, she said the spaghetti. That should have been a clue. We had combo specials. The ribs were dry and covered in sauce. Pork and beef were indistinguishable. Both were soaked but still dry. This was the worst bbq I have ever had. None of us finished our food. Fried okra and french fries were good. The cole slaw had pickles in it which we liked at first. After a few bites the novelty wore thin and it didn’t seem right. We are all pickle lovers too. Redeeming quality was good service. Our drinks were never empty and the food came fast.
: The extra star is because we weren’t charged for the experience. The food was not warm. The hamburger steak was straight up red, not pink, inside.
: BBq pulled pork was dry. They gave me coleslaw instead of baked beans. The fries were soggy and not cooked all the way. Overall, my first and last time eating here. Nothing worse than paying for trash food.
